New Clark City (FIP-NCC) welcomed a new international locator with the entry of Taiwan-based EDAC Group, a global leader in interconnectivity solutions. EDAC signed a five-year lease agreement for a 5,000-square-meter Ready-Built Factory (RBF) within the park, signifying a major investment in the Philippines’ growing electronics and advanced manufacturing sector.  EDAC is expanding its Southeast Asian operations through its local unit, EDAC Philippines Inc., with the facility earmarked to serve as the company’s newest manufacturing hub for the region.

Commercial operations at the FIP-NCC facility are targeted to commence by the second quarter of 2026. Upon full-scale ramp-up, EDAC’s Philippine operations are expected to employ up to approximately 90 workers, supporting job creation and the development of technical talent in Central Luzon.

The lease agreement was signed by Francis Ceballos, Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for Industrial and Logistics of Filinvest Land, Inc., and Connie Robinson, Financial Director of EDAC Philippines Inc. Also present were Carmelo Centeno III, General Manager of FIP-NCC, and Sherwin Robinson, Director of Operations for EDAC Philippines Inc. The signing was witnessed by Kenneth Peralta, Vice President and Head of the Investment Promotions and Marketing Department of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

“We are pleased to welcome EDAC to our growing community of industry-leading manufacturers and innovators at Filinvest Innovation Park – New Clark City,” said Ceballos. “EDAC’s presence reinforces FIP-NCC’s growing role in the industrialization of Central Luzon and as a strategic site for global enterprises looking to expand in the Philippines.”

“Our expansion into the Philippines through FIP-NCC is a strategic move for EDAC,” said Robinson. “The site’s infrastructure, incentives, and proximity to export channels make it ideal for our manufacturing and logistics operations. We look forward to contributing to the growth of New Clark City and the local economy.”

EDAC recently completed its registration with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) on January 5, 2026, qualifying the company for a range of fiscal incentives under the country’s investment promotions framework. These include an income tax holiday of four to seven years, with the option to avail of a five percent special corporate income tax, or enhanced deductions for up to 10 years, subject to prevailing regulations.

BCDA’s Peralta also expressed support, stating, “On behalf of BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang, we welcome EDAC to New Clark City—a next-generation city built for resilience, sustainability, and innovation. As the developer of New Clark City, and the joint venture partner of Filinvest Land in the development of Filinvest New Clark City, we take pride in having global players like EDAC investing here. It speaks volumes about the city’s potential as a world-class industrial destination.”

The signing ceremony was held at Quest Plus Hotel Clark, located within Mimosa Plus Leisure Estate—a Filinvest Development Corporation leisure township developed in partnership with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), a subsidiary of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
