In a landmark recognition of its people-first commitment, Filinvest Group proudly announced that it has won two awards at the prestigious HR Excellence Awards 2025, marking a significant milestone in its 70th anniversary year.
FDC received the Silver Award for Excellence in Talent Management and the Bronze Award for Excellence in Leadership Development—its inaugural wins at the HR Excellence Awards, which celebrate organizations with outstanding human resource strategies that drive business success.
The Silver in Excellence in Talent Management award recognizes the Group’s comprehensive Talent Review and Succession Planning framework across the conglomerate, the creation of Core and Leadership Competency Assessments anchored in its core values, and the implementation of leadership and development initiatives that foster employee growth and career progression. These strategies have strengthened organizational performance and supported the Group’s vision of becoming the best place for the best talents.
The Bronze in Excellence in Leadership Development award highlights the Group’s flagship programs—the Leadership Excellence Acceleration Program (LEAP) and the Executive Development Program (EDP). Developed in partnership with top academic institutions and designed around the Group’s Core and Leadership Competency Frameworks, these programs address critical gaps in bench strength, succession planning, and cultural continuity. They serve as a direct response to post-pandemic challenges of engagement, agility, and organizational alignment.
“Winning in these categories reflects our deep commitment to developing leaders and nurturing talent at all levels,” added Bing Paraguas, Head of HR Strategy & COE, First Vice President of FDC. “Our talent strategies are designed not only to meet today’s needs but to prepare our people for the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow.”
In addition to these wins, Filinvest Group was also named a finalist in Excellence in Talent Acquisition and Excellence in Workplace Culture, underscoring the breadth of its HR capabilities.
These accolades were determined through a rigorous evaluation by a panel of respected industry experts from reputable organizations—judges with strong credentials and extensive cross-functional, cross-industry, and global experience—validating the Group’s HR strategies against world-class standards.
These achievements also follow the Filinvest Group’s recent four-award win at the 2025 Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, which recognized the Group’s leadership development, talent acquisition, and organizational culture initiatives across its companies.
For Filinvest, these awards reflect the transformative journey taking place within the organization. As the group focuses on growth in the coming years, it is preparing the organization by equipping its people, strengthening systems, and fostering a culture where employees can grow and thrive.
These back-to-back honors underscore Filinvest’s sustained track record of HR excellence and its continuing commitment to building a purpose-driven, people-first culture that earns recognition on both local and global stages.
