MANILA – Filinvest Development Corp said Thursday it formed a joint venture with a Singapore-based firm for waterworks and sanitation services as well as distribution of potable water in the Philippines.

The partnership with Hitachi Aqua-Tech Engineering Pte Ltd will engage in construction, operations as well as rehabilitation of waterworks, sewerage and sanitation system and services, Filinvest told the stock exchange.

It will also engage in the “distribution, supply and sale of potable water to domestic, commercial and industrial users within the Philippines,” it said.
